About the Value of Immunization Compendium of Evidence

The Value of Immunization Compendium of Evidence (VoICE) is a searchable database of peer-reviewed evidence demonstrating the broad benefits of immunization across topics including health, equity, economics, health security, and disease outbreaks. This resource is designed to provide child health and immunization advocates, researchers, and decision makers with highly credible scientific evidence and messaging on the wide-ranging benefits of immunization.

VoICE is a project of the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and is made possible with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The VoICE Knowledge Hub

The VoICE Knowledge Hub is continually updated with  the latest peer-reviewed research on the broad benefits of vaccines.  VoICE utilizes a robust literature review process to select high-quality research and summarizes the evidence in a way that is accessible and easily understandable, for a variety of global audiences.

Evidence Briefs provide advocates with a concise synthesis of the latest evidence on critical and emerging immunization-related topics. Evidence Briefs provide a useful high-level summary of the current research on the benefits of immunization along with downloadable graphics, partner resources, and key messaging insights.

About the International Vaccine Access Center at Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health

Founded in 2009, the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health accelerates equitable access to vaccines through the generation and synthesis of evidence to inform vaccine policy decisions.

We generate, synthesize, and interpret evidence that supports informed vaccine policy decisions.

We provide technical assistance for policy-making that increases vaccine equity and coverage, bolsters new introduction decisions and processes, optimizes vaccine use, and advances sustainable vaccine financing.

We strengthen efforts to enable equitable access to vaccines, amplify political will, and measure impact to ensure program accountability and sustainability.
